How to detect SARS-CoV-2 Virus?

The SARS-CoV-2 virus particle is made up of five components: an RNAgene chain and four proteins. The out-ermost layer of the particle is a SpikeProtein (S),and the viral Envelopebelow the Spike is composed of Enve-lope Protein (E) and Membrane Protein(M).The core contained within the en-velope is a helical folded structure composed of RNA gene chains and Nucleo capsid proteins (N). Using theprinciple of specific binding of antigen and antibody, thepresence of SARS-CoV-2 antigen(Nucleocapsidprotein) can be detected by antibody.

• Clinical Performance

The performance of the SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test (Sputum/Saliva/Stool) was established with collected from 1012 individual symptomatic patients who were suspected of COVID-19. lt contains 1012 sputum samples, 899 saliva samples and 899 stool samples. The collection，treatment, storage, transportation and detection ofsamples met the relevant requirements of the Instruction for Use. At the same time, SARS-CoV-2 was detected by emergency nucleic acid detection reagent.
